Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia has a lot of attractions with historical and cultural influences. While many of these attractions are located downtown, some of them are also located a few days away but you should make the effort to visit them. Here are some of the main attractions in Kuala Lumpur:
This huge park in Kuala Lumpur was founded about 100 years ago. Across the 231 acres of green there are a lot of tourist attractions, including Bird Park and Butterfly Park. Hibiscus Gardens and Orchid Park offers a little bit of peace and good feelings and is a real attraction for every tourist. Lake Gardens also hosts the National Monument, a bronze-formed sculpture built for soldiers honor who fell during the second World War and the state of national emergency that followed the war.
Kuala Lumpur Tower
This tower is recently built and joined the giants from Kuala Lumpur. This construction was finished in 1996 and is one of the biggest and tallest skyscraper in the world, a telecommunication tower. You take the elevator up to the highest observation point for you to enjoy an impressive view. The total of 2059 stairs can be a good physical exercise as happens to athletes who come here to train for “Towerthon” competition.
Petronas Towers and Kuala Lumpur City Center
In the short time from completion the construction of Petronas towers, this massive construction have become famous all around the world. As high has the second place in the world but when we’re talking about beauty, they get first place. You can take the elevator up to the level that connects the two towers and admire a breathtaking view. The bottom of the tower is held in a park named Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC) and constitutes the ideal place where you can go with your children because they have a pool, a fountain and a large playground.
