To reach the chapel, take a left immediately inside the large iron gates at the main entrance to the Palace of Justice. This marvel of high Gothic architecture was built by Pierre de Montreuil probably during the reign of Louis IX in less than 33 months between 1245-1248.

The chapel was then placed in the main courtyard of the royal palace, a place which is now occupied by the Palace of Justice. During the eighteenth-century, one side of the chapel was combined with a wing of the Palace of Justice. For more than 30 years (1802 1837) the chapel was used for storing documents, before being restored between 1841 and 1867. The chapel is located in the left side of the great courtyard in the Palace of Justice. Has a length of 33 meters, a width of 17 meters and a height of 76 meters, to the top of the tower and 42 meters to the top sprocket.

Pont Saint-Louis
Pont Saint-Louis is a bridge over the Seine River that connects Île de la Cité to Ile Saint-Louis. The bridge today is the saptalea in history that connects the two islands, pont Saint-Landry (1630-1634) was the first of them. In 1717 a wooden bridge was built and named “Pont Rouge”, due to the color it was painted. It was destroyed in 1795 but was rebuilt in 1804, under the guidance of engineer Dumoustier, being 70 meters long and 10 meters wide. In 1862 the bridge was rebuilt, this time but metal, though it will be demolished almost 100 years later in 1939. Construction of the current bridge began in 1968 and completed in 1970.

Place de la Concorde
Market originally called Louis XV, with an equestrian statue of the king in the center, was designed by architect Jacques-Ange Gabriel, who between 1755 and 1775 built two magnificent buildings on the north side of the market.

During the French Revolution the statue was destroyed, the square was renamed in Revolution Square and a guillotine was located here. Among the many hundreds of executed here include Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, Mme Dubarry, Charlotte Corday, Danton and finally Robespierre and his supporters.

Luxembourg Palace
Luxembourg Palace and Gardens is located on the site of an ancient Roman camps. In 1257 a monastery was built here. Luxembourg Palace was built between 1615-1627. After Henry IV was assassinated, his wife, Maria de Medici decided to build a huge and luxurious palace in the Luxembourg district.

Have you always wanted to go to a country where spiders or snakes could attack you at every turn, but you shudder just thinking or simply you can not climb the flight of fear and therefore remains the destination of your dreams only at the design stage for years? Here’s what you can do to overcome obstacles!

You love to travel. But how you handle small or large phobias which usually increase during such trips?

Millions of people suffer from the anxiety, so avoid flying, driving or doing any other activity that would endanger health. Fear of flying, for example, is the most common anxiety seen.

Some people just can not climb in an airplane. Or people who have flown all my life but one morning they wake up suddenly with the idea that the plane you are going to climb will collapse. When blockage occurs.

The first thing you should try is traditional therapy. A therapist can treat your phobias. Of course, you run the risk of “treat” only wallet. Money. On the same line, hypnotherapy can give good results. Hypnosis is used to relax completely and makes you not care about you for any inconvenience that you may have because of the trip.

Foreigners recommend what they called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), which you can practice free, on the internet. All you have to do is hit slowly across the face and say a few words in consequence of phobia you have. It seems that it works on the principle of auto-suggestion.

The truth is that often happens when traveling in some other countries to wake up surrounded by people from all over the world and not just the natives of the country you are visiting. It can often be frustrating and disappointing.

After all, a holiday in Italy does not mean to stand for hours in line to see the usual artwork. It’s about food. So where is the good food? Sometimes it may seem that the Italians have hidden the best restaurants in the path interminabilelori waves of tourists. And an Italian restaurant for tourists can not compare with a real Italian restaurant.

Do not misunderstand, there are many good restaurants full of tourists, where the food is delicious, but when you are in Rome, Florence, Naples, Venice and Milan have to experience the Italian lifestyle. So, how to find a restaurant that is truly authentic Italian, full of true Italian?

Avoid
First, do not use tour guide. Even guides who claim to know those special places, will show the same well-known restaurants. Small restaurants, away, with a certain charm perhaps were once “far from the beaten track” but thousands of people who have the same guide as you probably managed to change that.

Second, do not ask the hotel, the guide, taxi driver or any other person who tells you: “You say that you have sent me.” In Italy everything is based on relationships, especially when it comes to money. This means that almost all hotels have a specific number of restaurants that pay to be provided to clients. Often, they can be very unfortunate choice, since you have to pay the customers.

Lastly, beware of squares, main streets and museums areas. It may be tempting to sit in a beautiful market where you can sit outside and watch people or flocks of pigeons, but pizza menus have quick and easy, too expensive and you probably already annoyed staff of eternal replicate the lack of courtesy of other waiters.

DO!
Explore! Go on your own. Find, use your imagination, read menus, side-alleys exploring (but not alone / to) and choose as instinct tells you. The best time to do this is sooner. If you know you dinner, give yourself some time in the afternoon to find the best choice for the evening, so you will not be too hurried and hungry, so you go in the first place that comes your way. So you wear, you will relax and then head to the place you chose.

If you explore yourself, find places that have ads in other languages entrance. If you find that have menu in English, do not panic, this is very common and can be found even in the most remote restaurants. But if you are offered a menu laminate in any language from here to Timbuktu, not good. Premises using this formula, definitely have some experience with tourists.

If you plan on asking for a recommendation, find a person who lives in that city and that seems competent. Can someone who was friendly and helped you in any store, or a waitress who has time for it, or a friend who knows the place. Most Italians eating treats seriously and will likely show you a nice place, if you have other interests.

The last advice I can give you is to simply walk. Get out of town, out of the tourist areas, step away from the crowd. If you car, driving on country roads until you find a restaurant car, motorcycle or scooter in front. If there is no car parked in front of the premises, means it is not popular or Italian Prince. Have fun, enjoy and discover on their own the best kept secrets of Italy.

High on the island of the same name, Matsumoto Castle occupies a place among the leading historical castles of Japan. History down in time to the beginning of the sixteenth century. In 1504, Shimadachi Sadanaga, Ogasowara clan, built a fort on the spot, which was originally called Castle Fukashi. In 1550 it was occupied by the Takeda clan after he changed many rulers, went to Ishikava Norimasa. He and his son Yasunaga, have tried to give a new look old town. They built the castle since 1590 and two towers, but it seems that most of the building was completed between 1593-1594.

During the Edo period, the Tokugawa sogunatul residence there including some seniors may remember daimyo Matsudaira and Mizuno. Time of 280 years, until the abolition of the feudal system, the castle was led by 23 seniors Matsumoto, representing six different daimyo families. During this time the fortress was known as the “Crow Castle”, because of its dark color, and appearance roofs, suggesting open wings of birds in flight.

Castle, featuring wooden interior and exterior of stone, was built on a hill or a mountain. He is what the Japanese call “hirajiro”, a building built on a plain. Hence intricate defense system consisting of walls and ditches connected and impregnable gates. After Japan experienced threats of invaders, the castle was home to the country’s leaders planned their most military campaigns.

In 1872, following the Meiji Revolution (1867-1912), the entire area was sold at auction, proposing to his enrollment in a program The so-called development. Other castles of this type had already been demolished and residents in the area had learned that their will suffer the same fate. What was safe was the tower will be destroyed, even if the rest of the building would not have suffered. News and troubled people of culture who, led by Ichikawa RyÜzÜ triggered an impressive campaign to save the monument. Their efforts have paid off and the tower was purchased by the city authorities.

In the last years of the Meiji tower began to lean to one side. It was caused by a construction negligence that led to faulty structure, but people argue that this is a consequence of the curse Tada Kasuke. Legend has it that he was a fighter who had risen against exploitation, particularly tax increases. Sentenced to death, he convinced his wife to divorce because otherwise she would have been killed and, eventually, was taken on a hill called Seitaka, near the castle. From there, waiting for death, he cried so hard defending human rights, that tower was leaning.

Fearful of the consequences that could have that inclination, Professor Kobayashi Unary initiated a fundraising and, between 1903-1913, the castle was restored. Other major restorations took place between 1950-1955. In 1990 they were rebuilt a gate and a side wall, and in 1999 the second gate. On June 30, 2011, an earthquake measuring 5.4 degrees has caused large cracks inside the main tower is imposing emergency repairs.

Reflecting local culture, the castle is now part of the heritage country on the list of National Treasures of Japan housing an impressive collection of arms and armor. During the year there have been a series of cultural events.

Located on Castle Hill, Trinity Square, near the famous Fishermen’s Bastion church is undoubtedly one of the symbols of the city on the Danube. Its history is closely linked to the city of Buda before its union with the one on the other side of the river. The oldest manuscript mentioning the church, originally dedicated to Our Lady dates from 1247 but seems to have been built on the site of an older building. In XIII century church under the jurisdiction of the bishop of Veezpren work. In 1255, King Bela IV reminded the church as a place and subject construction and renovation in 1269 as a finished work that celebrated divine service.

The settlement in the Middle Ages was the scene of various political events. After the Arpad dynasty, Czech king Vincel was received in this church, and in 1309, Charles Robert of Anjou, King of Hungary, was crowned here. Here took place the coronation of King Mathias and two of his marriages. Plan and appearance of the church dates from the reign of King Sigismund. The best part of the facade and south-east tower was built during the reign of Mathias, whose coat of arms, representing an eagle is printed on the wall. On this occasion people have changed the name of the monastery “Assumption” or “Church of Our Lady” in Mathias Church.

In 1526 the Turks invaded Buda and, unfortunately, much of monastic fell prey to the flames. It was renovated fast enough but, in 1541, the Turks conquered Buda and sanctuary was converted into a mosque. Here was a job held by the Muslim Sultan Suleyman Thank heaven for helping in the fight. Transforming the church into a mosque led to a series of transformations. It was moved furniture, statues were removed, washed walls, thus sparing frescoes. The two gorgeous chandeliers were taken to Istanbul and today can be seen in Hagia Sophia. Christian troops entered Budapest on September 2, 1686 and the mosque was again Christian church. It seems that there has been, at that time, “Miracle Lady”. It is said that during the siege by the Holy League, a church wall collapsed due to projectiles fired from guns in front of Muslims who were praying statue of the Virgin appeared hidden behind the wall. This has frightened the occupants of the city which was released the same day.

The church belonged to the first Franciscans, and Jesuits and was decorated in Baroque style, taste age. In 1723 it was seriously damaged by fire and, 25 years later, lightning destroyed the main altar built in 1690. By the middle of the nineteenth century arches and walls suffered damage we age specific so a complete renovation was absolutely indispensable, even more because the church was considered a Catholic sanctuary and by size, the second of medieval Buda Seven of the medieval Kingdom of Hungary.

Restoration took place between 1873-1896 by architect Frigyes Schulek. Reconstruction was done in neo-Gothic and the works attended the most outstanding artists of the era. Notable besides windows and roof, evoking paintings of biblical scenes or past country. The church is religious art museum with sarcophagi and funerary chapel Bela III and that of Ana de Chatillon. The building stands out among others by sound perfect and it’s no surprise that here Franz Joseph was crowned as King of Hungary, in solemn agreements Table of Franz Liszt, and which resonate to this day, even though grooms are ordinary people.
