Learn the safety precautions to protect your health in vacation. When you are planning a trip, looking out the features of the area in terms of diseases, drinking water, vaccines or other measures recommended for foreigners.
Here is how to avoid the health problems on a trip:
Bottled water
Water is one of the first triggers of the disease known as tourist diarrhea. Once you leave from home, the fact that you change the water may have negative effects on the body. It is very important to drink only bottled water, sealed and filtered. Skip the drinks with ice cubes as you can not check whether or not made with water. Rely on teas and freshly squeezed fruit juices in your face, which is supplemented by water.
Foods to Avoid
Besides luxury restaurants and venues that have absolute confidence, avoid eating meat, raw vegetables and greens. Meat may not be stored or cooked in optimum conditions and vegetables and greens are washed in ordinary water, which may contain harmful microorganisms. Do not eat unpasteurized cheese and dairy products.
Go to premises that are full every day, such as those in tourist resorts. Ask for recommendations from the hotel or opt for premises that appear in printed guides.
Learn to say no
It happens sometimes to realize that something is wrong with eating only when you receive, even if you thought it was a good place to eat. Do not think any money, do not be shy. Politely ask the waiter to bring you another steak or give up of that meal. Do not eat a preparation if your intuition tells you to avoid it. Wasting time and money better than a few days lying in bed or do laps to the bathroom. Do not accept a room with windows unprotected by mosquito netting, especially on the sea.
Travel insurance
Wherever you travel, insurance is always beneficial. In unforeseen circumstances, you can receive appropriate treatment. All tour operators recommend for tourists to make insurance.
Baggage
Put in bag clothing and accessories that help you stay healthy. Some pills, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, layered clothing, disinfectant gel is very useful on vacation.
