Villa at the foot of the volcano – Karma Kandara
Karma Kandara Resort is located in the southernmost point of the island of Bali, on a peninsula at the foot of the sacred volcano Gunung Agung. Private resort consists of 46 villas, each with its own section of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Karma Kandara is located on a rocky headland, which rises in some places to a few tens of meters above the Indian Ocean, location offering spectacular scenery, unlimited in all directions. The 46 villas are available in two, three or four bedrooms and are built in an architectural mix of Mediterranean and Balinese influences.
Each holiday home includes its own swimming pool and one large tropical garden and all bedrooms with windows facing the ocean. Style villas each is slightly different, but they all interiors decorated with artwork specific island.
Leisure possibilities begin with extensive gardens and beach, but the resort includes an outdoor club and a full spa with treatments based on the traditions of the area. Guests can choose to surf, dive or explore nearby islands offer a catamaran of Karma Kandara, or even helicopter.
Bali is a spectacular island not only for the natural beauty but also by the unique culture of the region. Although Indonesia is a majority Muslim country, the people of Bali have their own type of Hinduism, which incorporates elements of local religions extensive panoply of Hindu gods and heroes. Karma Kandara Resort is located near many temples and shrines, some even dating back to the eleventh century.
The main restaurant of the resort, called “di Mare”, is run by chef Steven Grande and offers a fusion of Balinese and international cuisine and the wine list includes over 3000 varieties available.
