James Henry nets twice in Aldershot’s win over Oldham.
We’re delight to confirm the signing of experience midfielder James Henry subject to League and FA approval!
The 35-year-old joins the Shots for the 24/25 season and brings over 500 Football League with him and will wear the number 27 shirt.
Henry spent last season with Oxford United. Who he joined in 2017/18, and made 14 appearances for the now Championship side as they won the League One playoffs last season and made a total of 260 appearances for them.
The midfielder started his career with https://ufabet999.app Nottingham Forest and earned England under 19 caps as a youngster and has had brief spells at Norwich, Bournemouth, Reading and Bolton.
James Henry scored twice as Aldershot beat Oldham 4-1 to inflict a first defeat for the Latics in the Vanarama National League this season.
The former Millwall and Oxford striker fired the Shots into a 38th-minute lead with his second goal for the club.
Henry grabbed another after 58 minutes following good work by Tyler Frost and Hady Ghandour.
Oldham struck back immediately as Reagan Ogle’s cross deflected in off of Frost.
But Frost turned from villain to hero by converting Ashley Akpan’s 68th-minute cross.
