Van Dijk hails ‘Gomez‘ after Liverpool come from behind to beat Brighton

Liverpool are top of the Premier League after 10 games. They have conceded just six goals in 10 games, the fewest of any Premier League club this season.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has hailed substitute Joe Gomez after he impressed in Saturday’s 2-1 Premier League win over Brighton.

Liverpool continued their excellent form and in this game they conceded the first goal early on, however they came back with two goals and won again in ยูฟ่าเบท a game. Where they had to lose Ibrahima Konaté due to an injury during the game. Before Gomez came on to do an excellent job that made Van Dijk come out to praise the form of this English defender.

“I know Joe had interesting offers from a number of teams last summer, but he was very clear. He has a lot of respect for the club and the team. Of course for me he is a great player and he showed it again today with a very good performance.”

“I think we played a bad first half, but the second half was different. The energy, the pressing, the decision-making, all of which gave us the goal we wanted.”

“We are on a very good path, we want to have a good season, so there is still a long way to go,” said Van Dijk.
