Erling Haaland  from Borussia Dortmund has revealed that The best defender in the world at present, according to his own opinion, is Virgil van Dijk.

“From my personal point of view. Virgil van Dijk is definitely the best defender in the world at the moment.  I think a lot of people would agree with that,” he told TV2 and ufabet .

“He was tall and large but moved quickly strong body. The way of playing each stroke is full of intelligence whether offensively or defensively. Let’s say that if anyone has the opportunity to build the best Dream Team, Van Dijk will be one of the three players you can’t live without.”

“I’ve been fortunate to have had the chance to face Liverpool. Where Van Dijk was at the heart of the game twice (Liverpool vs Salzburg in the UCL). He’s an amazing footballer. And everyone dreams of him being a teammate for sure.”

And late Wednesday night (1.45 GMT) Norway’s Haaland will host the Netherlands national team with Van Dijk back in the squad for the World Cup qualifiers.
